Notes to Editor:
Every day 10 families in the UK are told that their child has cancer. Diagnosis often comes as a shock and treatment usually starts straightaway and can last up to three years.
Although survival rates are over 70%, cancer remains the single largest cause of death from disease in children in the UK.
As the leading children and young people's cancer charity CLIC Sargent is there with clinical, practical and emotional support, every step of the way.
